Briefing
At this stage:● We talk through your idea and goals● I outline the recommended workflow● You receive a BOOK CREATION PROPOSAL with an ORIENTED BUGET/conditions and timeline
This step helps us set clear expectations and move into the creative part with confidence.
Test Illustration Stage (Optional But Recommended)
Before we begin the full book, many authors choose to start with a test illustration. It helps set the visual tone, style, and mood of the entire project.
What the test illustration is:It may be as character design and also as a fully finished illustration (or a detailed coloured sketch) created using your characters, world, or a key scene. Its purpose is to confirm the artistic direction, find characters before we move forward with all the spreads.
Why this stage is helpful?It gives you clarity and confidence before committing to the full project. Also you will have full understanding of the process and the result
Storyboard & Book Structure
I help you to organize the main beats: final pacing, number of spreads, key moments, and overall flow.
You receive:● A clear storyboard structure● A spread-by-spread plan (which scene goes where) with my ideas and comments ● FINALIZED PRICE FOR PROJECT
This becomes the foundation for all illustrations in the book
As soon as we almost agreed all needed info - we may SIGN AGREEMENT AND NDA (optional)
Sketches & Composition
I create black-and-white sketches for all spreads to establish layout, emotion, and visual storytelling.
You receive: • A full set of sketches/drafts • A revision stage before we move to color
Changes are easiest here — that’s why we finalize the whole visual structure at the sketch phase.
Color & Final Illustrations
Once the sketches are approved, I move to color approval stage and after - rendering the final illustrations.
At this stage, only small adjustments (shade, detail, minor pose tweaks) are included.
You receive:● Color solution for the whole book + revision● Fully finished, coloured spreads + minor revision
Book Layout & Typography(Optional service)
I assemble the final book in the required format: print-ready PDF, EPUB, or web-friendly versions.
You receive: • A professional book layout • Correct margins, safe zones, bleed, and print specs • Files compatible with self-publishing platforms (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, local printers, Lulu etc.)
Final Files & Delivery
You get everything needed for printing or publishing, neatly organized in GoogleDrive folder folderand ready to upload.
After delivery, you can move straight to your chosen printer or platform.
